The IEDC site is sort of the benchmark for the next set of standards. We wanted to make a design that was more commercial than most other state sites, as this would be the "brochure cover" for businesses investing in Indiana. The new IN.gov page will mirror this in a lot of ways, so we had to make something that was flexible, met all of these needs, and looked good.
The governor mentioned this site in his 2005 State of the State address, so I think we are off to a good start. It's up to the IEDC to continue to feed the site valuable content, and we'll continue to make sure it gets presented well.
